KINGSTON: Paper Flower Making at Tilda's

Join us as we create giant and teeny paper flowers in preparation for our upcoming Spring event, BLOOM: A Story of Rebirth, where participants will be invited to step upon candlelit paths and "join our visceral journey through the woods to be both witness and player on an exuberant full sensory experience where performance meets the sacred and celebration."

The vignettes or scenes along the path will build sequentially upon the one before to tell a complete story of rebirth personally and as a collective. Participants will emerge with new eyes, remembering we are each important, possessing urgent healing medicine for the planet, and for our own blooming. It’s a spectacle, an inspiration, and an offering to the Earth and our collective future.

In preparation for BLOOM we are calling on the hands and hearts of the community to join us in making wonderfully joyous and bright paper flowers for the final scene of BLOOM!

No experience is necessary. The only thing that’s required is a willingness to experiment and play!

WHEN: Tuesday, May 3, 3-6pm.

WHERE: Tilda’s Community Space, 630 Broadway, Kingston

WHO: People over the age of 13 who will be able to get there at the 3pm start time as we hold an important intention circle at 3:15!

HOW: This event is volunteer based which means… free! Donations are welcome and extremely appreciated to assist us in covering material costs and ensuring that we can continue offering accessible programming to all! If you are excited to offer your time and creative gifts, come join us in the play!

Thank you to Arts Mid-Hudson for support in making this possible.
