ARTISAN MARKETS: Celebrating Hudson Valley Makers

We are thrilled to share the success of this year’s Artists and Makers Handmade Holiday Market 2023.
Held on December 9th and 10th, this marked our 4th annual holiday market and the 7th edition of our thriving local makers markets.

This year, in collaboration with ArtPort Kingston, we had the pleasure of inviting the community to join us at our fourth annual Holiday Market. It was a joyous occasion filled with two days of holiday shopping, community camaraderie, captivating stories, exquisite craftsmanship, soulful music, delightful hot cocoa, and much more!

These markets are not just about shopping; they are an incredible opportunity to connect with the artists and makers themselves. By listening to their personal stories and understanding their creative processes, we gain a deeper appreciation for their work. Their passion and dedication to their craft shine through as they express themselves through their skilled hands.

Supporting local makers is of utmost importance. These artisans markets serve as a vital hub for communities to come together, fostering connections and supporting one another. In today's fast-paced culture, where genuine human interactions are often overlooked, these markets provide a much-needed space for community engagement and are a celebration of different cultural perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences. By providing a platform where artists and makers from diverse communities can showcase their work, Circle Creative Collective creates a space for cultural exchange.

We were thrilled to witness the tradition of supporting local makers being nourished and carried forward this year. The overwhelming response and participation from all of you have filled our hearts with warmth. Your smiles, your stories, and your genuine sharing have left an indelible mark on us, one that will continue to inspire us through the winter months. We are deeply grateful to each and every one of you for being a part of this incredible journey.

As we reflect on the success of this year's Artists and Makers Handmade Holiday Market, we can't help but be excited about what the future holds. We eagerly anticipate the growth and continued flourishing of these markets, as they play a vital role in supporting local makers, fostering community connections, and promoting accessibility to unique and handmade creations.

Thank you for your unwavering support and enthusiasm. Together, let us continue to celebrate and uplift the talents of our local makers.
