Artesanía: A Latina Women’s Artisan Collective
Handmade in Kingston, NY.
Artesanía is a Latina immigrant women's artisan collective creating handmade textiles and leather goods rooted in tradition — and building new pathways to income, skill, and community.
Who We Are
Artesanía is a program of Circle Creative Collective supporting Latina immigrant women through paid, home-based artisan work. Through sewing, embroidery, and leather-working, our artisans create handmade clothing and accessories while building practical skills, earning fair wages, and creating meaningful economic opportunity for women and their families.
Every piece reflects both traditional craft knowledge and the creative voice of the woman who made it. We collaborate directly with our artisans on all of it — from design to production to how we show up in the community.

Where You’ll Find Us
Artesanía's work doesn't stay behind closed doors. Our pieces are sold at local artisan markets and through Circle Creative Collective. Our artisans also contribute their skills to Circle's beloved Hallowed Day of the Dead celebration — one of the Hudson Valley's most beloved seasonal events — where handmade masks and costumes bring the celebration to life for thousands of community members each year.
🎉 Coming Soon: Celebrate the official launch of Artesanía this September! Join us for an evening celebrating the women, the work, and the handmade pieces created so far — with a look at what's coming next. Official date to be announced — check back or get in touch to learn more.
Partner With Us
We're actively looking for partners who believe in handmade work, cultural craft, and community. Here's how we might work together:
Boutiques & Retailers: Interested in carrying handmade Artesanía pieces in your shop? We'd love to connect and tell you more about our current collection and what's coming next.
Markets & Events: Find us at local artisan markets, or reach out to bring Artesanía to your next event or market.
Venues: We're looking for a space to host the official public launch of Artesanía this September — an evening celebrating the women, the work, and the handmade pieces created so far, with a look at what's coming next. If your venue might be the right fit, we'd love to talk.

More Than a Product Line
Artesanía is a community of women sharing skills, preserving cultural traditions, and building something together. Participants gather regularly in welcoming, bilingual sessions — sewing, learning, and supporting one another in ways that go well beyond the work itself.
“Circle Creative provides work for these talented immigrant women who create these products with pride and independence. We feel so grateful that these women have a safe outlet for their skills, and inspiring means of support created with their own two hands.”
–Lesley Gallagher, Ulster Immigrant Defense Network
