A Hands-On Holiday Workshop

Join us this Sunday for a cozy, last-minute workshop where we’ll explore the beauty and magic of natural dyes. You’ll meet three remarkable dye plants—Madder, Marigold, and Indigo—and learn how they create vibrant reds, sunny yellows, and deep blues. We’ll introduce simple shibori folding techniques such as binding, twisting, and clamping, which create beautiful patterns and textures on cloth.

Each participant will dye a set of six 100% cotton flour-sack napkins, perfect to give as handmade gifts or keep for your own holiday table. You’ll also head home with a natural dyeing booklet filled with formulas and instructions so you can keep dyeing at home.
If you'd like to dye more, additional sets of six napkins will be available onsite for $18 each.

This is a relaxed, hands-on workshop—come learn, play, experiment, and leave with a meaningful gift or two for the season.
